ABOUT STRENGTH LAB QC

Strength Lab is a strength, conditioning, and weightlifting facility that houses a community of like-minded people – people that want to work hard, test their limits, train effectively and create the best versions of themselves they possibly can for sport and/or life. People from all walks of life, all levels of fitness, and with many different goals make up the community of Strength Lab.

In 2009 we brought CrossFit to the Quad Cities and opened The Foundation (Formerly Quad City CrossFit). Over the years we set out to learn about and experience as many different systems and ideas about fitness training in order to bring the best of the best to our clients, and in 2011, we found what is known as “The Conjugate Method”.

The experience and results “WESTSIDE BARBELL” has seen with ALL different types of athletes is nothing short of amazing and, in our opinion, unparalleled in the United States. More and more, we’ve adopted the principles and adapted them for our client base at The Foundation. Shane Sweatt and Laura Phelps-Sweatt have been a huge influence on us, and we have to give credit where credit is due!

That being said, we’re kicking up it up a notch with Strength Lab as we set out to become THE place where athletes go to gain strength and attain their goals, whatever those might be. This is NOT a CrossFit gym (even though we, of course, love CrossFit)

 

Strength Lab is a place where Strength and Weakness Development come first. It is a controlled atmosphere in which we hone in on what our clients need individually. Through smart programming, our staff of knowledgeable and effective coaches and our specialty equipment, we set ourselves apart by being THE premier personal training facility in the Quad Cities. No matter what your goals, we have what you need to meet it!

We envision Strength Lab as a premiere facility, featuring coaches that intelligently and purposefully train clients in a manner fit to the individual athlete.
